About The Project
The Town of Thermopolis, in conjunction with the Hot City Outdoor Alliance, wanted to increase tourism and make several of the local landmarks available to the public. They hired TPT Trails to evaluate the surrounding region for trail development and develop a Community Trail Plan. The plan included a robust public engagement process, discussion of funding options, evaluation of natural surface trails and road bicycling corridors and review of relevant planning documents for trail related issues. This information was used to create a conceptual-level plan and vision for a destination trail system in the Thermopolis area.
