TPT Trails founder and owner Todd Thibodeau has over forty years of trail experience. In 2018, after several decades with Wyoming State Parks, Historic Sites and Trails (SPHST), Mr. Thibodeau retired and pursued his passion designing and building trails. Todd oversaw master planning, interpretation, volunteers, environmental and cultural resource compliance and construction projects for SPHST. During this period, he worked on many forms of trail construction including, ADA trails, compacted crusher fines trails and IMBA standard multi-use natural surface trails. Mr. Thibodeau proposed, designed and helped to construct the IMBA Epic trail system at Curt Gowdy State Park.
TPT Trails provides trail planning, trail design and trail construction services. Todd has considerable experience working with land managers, communities, private organizations and the public. TPT trails has worked on projects for the United States Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, Wyoming SPHST, municipalities and counties. Two of these projects have received the IMBA Epic designation.
TPT Trails focuses on hand built natural surface trails and is noted for the quality of their rock work.
TPT Trails is the only Wyoming based natural surface trail construction company.
TPT Trail’s crew is primary Wyoming born and current Wyoming residents. Several members of TPT Trails crew have worked with Todd for years. Todd works with all members of his crew to ensure they have excellent trail design and construction skills.

TPT Trails has considerable experience working with volunteers and leading volunteer days.
Mr. Thibodeau is one of the people that helped to establish the Wyoming Conservation Corp (WCC). Todd helped train and direct the work of the first WCC crew and continues to do so to this day.
